V ra´mci pra´ce je popsa´no neˇkolik na´ stroju˚ a algoritmu˚ zameˇrˇujı´cı´ch se na zpracova´nı´ prostorovy´ch dat a jejich na´slednou vizualizaci. Soucˇa´ stı´ pra´ce byl na´vrh a realizace aplikace slouzˇı´cı´ k prova´deˇnı´ vy´konnostnı´ch testu˚ nad prostorovy´mi dotazy a uskutecˇneˇnı´ teˇchto testu˚ . Cı´lem byla implementace na´ stroje pro vizualizaci prostorovy´ch dat z oblasti dopravy.This diploma thesis deals with processing and visualization of traffic data representing a vehicle movement on road networks using spatial database. In the framework of the dissertation some of tools and algorithms focusing on spatial data processing and visualization were described. The part of the thesis was to design and implement an application for spatial queries performance testing followed by performing the tests itself. Individual Professional Practice in the Company

Import 03/08/2012Tato bakalářská práce by měla především reflektovat mé pracovní nasazení a působení ve společnosti Banan, sídlící v Ostravě, ve které proběhlo absolvování odborné praxe. Během práce v této firmě jsem plnil povinnosti převážně z oblasti vývoje a správy aplikací a informačních systémů, oboje zpravidla interního typu. Během plnění primárních úkolů se mi dostalo možnosti sekundárně pracovat v sekci technické podpory, kde jsem byl postupně zařazen do pozice experta. Ve své zprávě popisuji nejen charakteristiku společnosti a svého zařazení, ale i postup řešení zadaných úkolů spolu s hodnocením osobního přínosu. Výsledkem mého působení ve firmě měly být především funkční aplikace, jež by firma pravidelně používala, aktivní řešení dílčích problémů na straně klientů společnosti i vnitřních záležitostí. Podílel jsem se také na konzultacích s dalšími kolegy, které vedly k vyřešení problémů i z oblasti ostatních oddělení ve firmě.This bachelor thesis reflects on my professional work experience while employed by the Banan Company headquartered in Ostrava. I was employed as an Application and Information Systems Development Manager, both usually of internal type. My duties also included technical support as a secondary responsibility. While holding the position of technical support I was promoted to the level of expert. I describe both the characteristic of the company and its classification, my troubleshooting assignments and how I personally benefited and how it influenced my professional career. The result of my evaluation and recommendations should lead to a functional approach to problem solutions that are beneficial to the company’s internal procedures and its clients. Multi-node Approach for Map Data Processing

OpenStreetMap (OSM) is a popular collaborative open-source project that offers free editable map across the whole world. However, this data often needs a further on-purpose processing to become the utmost valuable information to work with. That is why the main motivation of this paper is to propose a design for big data processing along with data mining leading to the obtaining of statistics with a focus on the detail of a traffic data as a result in order to create graphs representing a road network. To ensure our High-Performance Computing (HPC) platform routing algorithms work correctly, it is absolutely essential to prepare OSM data to be useful and applicable for above-mentioned graph, and to store this persistent data in both spatial database and HDF5 format.
